HOW UPSC CONDUCTED CIVIL SERVICE EXAMINATION.

So, going to straight but before we start I wanna tell all of you that UPSC is a body who conduct Civil services examination for 32 more major services,  not only IAS, IPS.

How UPSC CONDUCT The exams. 

UPSC conduct civil service exam in major 3 levels. 

1) prelims  examination 

    

    This is a only a selection round consisting of only 2 papers. 

         1)  A genral Study paper.   (200 M) 

         2)  CSAT  paper                  (200 M)

* CSAT exam is qualifying in nature you just have to score 33% of marks. 

When you qualify paper-2 then only your gs paper will be checked. 

Congratulations you will definitely clear prelims Now you are on the stage 2 of exam's. 

                  The Mains Examination 

The Main is a exams which gonna be the deciding factor of which service you are alloted. 

Includes 

     Two qualifying papers. -  1)  English (300)

                                               2) language (300)

Then there is a series of 5 exams. 

1) Essay  (250m) 

2) genral study 1(250)

3) genral study 2(250)

4) genral study3 (250)

5) genral study 4(250)

Then there is two optional papers. 

1) paper 1.      (250m) 

2) paper 2.      (250m) 

After you clearing this stage. 

There is a last round INTERVIEW. 

This is basically a personality test of Aspirants. UPSC wants to test personality of each candidate.
