PM launches Indian space Association (ISpa) 




New Delhi, on Monday  PM Narendra Modi Launches Indian Space Association (ISpa)and interacted with Space Industry Representative 


PM says,  When we talk about space reforms,our approach is based on four pillars
The first is Private Sector should have the freedom to innovate , The second pillar is Government role as enabler, Third is to prepare Youth for future and the Fourth one is Treating space sector as resource for progress of Common man.

Further PM said this new idea is significantly important because it is not the time for India to do Linear innovation but to do exponential innovation and this will possible when government act as an enabler not as an handler then PM said about the significance of Private sector in defence or space sector. 
Also,  he said ISRO facilities are being opened for private sector and it will ensure that a matured technology is transferred to private sector too. Also goverment plays a role of an aggregator as this will ensure young minds will not loose their energy in arranging assets or equipments.

Therefore, Govt. has launched a program In-SPACe to facilitate participation of private sector. It will be a single window , independent agency in space sector related issues and to boost up this sector. 


Also,  "In the last few years, our focus has also been on ensuring reach to the common citizen. In the last 7 years, we've used space technology as a key tool to ensure last-mile delivery and transparent governance":
